Join us for our new 100% Soy Creative Candle Workshops.
Creative Expressions DIY is proud to offer custom-scented, handmade soy candles made completely by you. We use 100% clean soy wax for a cleaner burn. Choose from a wide array of scents, colors, over three dozen vessels of several sizes, and embellishments for the ultimate unique gift. Consider keeping one and giving one.
Each candle made also includes a bottle of wooden matches in the color of your choice!
Cotton/wax wick included with all candles. We have a growing premium fragrance oil selection that we take very serious to choose only from the best candle companies. These oil scents are expensive but we want the best scent throw for our customers. Please handle these with care. If you spill your candle scent oil, there will be a charge of $5.00 for additional candle scent oil. Optional candle wax dying available for a deeper, darker color you desire. We are here to walk you through the entire process while working with hot soy wax!
We ask that ONLY finger foods are brought to our candle workshops. Feel free to bring drinks of your choice such as wine, beer and soda. We have a water cooler for those wanting water and we do supply ice and a large galvanized metal tub to hold ice and drinks. We also have a Keurig coffee maker for those who like coffee.
NOTE: This workshop requires a $10 registration fee to hold your spot. This fee can be used toward your candle workshop, and the remaining balance will be due at the studio. If you do not attend, the registration fee is non-refundable.
How does it work? Our process is easy! (shortened version)
- Step 1. When you arrive, grab a clipboard, begin filling it out, look through the list of fragrances and smell them- then choose your favorite(s)!
- Step 2. Choose your candle vessels, (limited to two) and colors unless you decide on white. We have a wide variety to choose from.
- Step 3. Have a seat, put on your apron and we will bring your wax over to you to get started. Have fun!

- + We offer boxes for those wanting to travel or gift their candles for a small fee.
- MORE IN-STUDIO OPTIONS: Clam Shell Candles are also available to make or purchase in our studio. We also offer an array of beautiful electric candle wax scent holders for your candle clamshell wax. Buy one of our candle wax scent holders and get two FREE wax melts with your purchase. These make wonderful gifts.

Our vessels range from 4 ounces to 69 ounces. We are thrilled we carry an array of beautiful vessels that are gorgeous and pleasing to the eye. Come check out our newest

All candles will need to be placed in a cool, dark place for one week to fully cure to get the best scent throw.
Have a vessel from a previous workshop you’d like to reuse?
Great! We’ll give you a discount off the price to refill your vessels when you bring it back in clean.
